FireLite and Neoceram fire rated ceramic glasses are manufactured by Nippon Electric Glass Plc of Japan.

NEG was established over half a century ago in 1949, and has wholly dedicated itself to glass, seeking to develop new glass compositions and refine existing glass manufacturing technologies.

High-tech glass forms the basis of NEGs business, and just some of the product areas they manufacture for include:

• Substrate glass and glass pastes for use in televisions, computer screens and other display equipment
• Glass for optical communications and electronic devices
• Glass fibres for reinforcing thermo-plastics and yarns for circuit boards
• Glass and glass based products for the building industry including fire-rated glass, cladding materials, radiation shielding and decorative products such as glass blocks
